The Lovato Family has been members of the Oak Ridge Swim Club since 2004.
Jen swam for the Orcas from 2004 to 2010. She has taught swim lessons and was a lifeguard at the Spears YMCA from 2008 to 2014. For the past four years, she has been the Coach for the Northwest High School Varsity Swim Team.
She is excited to be the Oak Ridge Swim Club Head Coach for the upcoming season. Jen is looking forward to a fun and exciting summer swim season!
I just finished my senior year at Northwest Guilford High School and am ready to continue my academic career at Appalachian State University, where I will be majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics.
I have been swimming for thirteen years, of which eight have been with Oak Ridge. I also just finished my fourth year swimming on the NWHS swim team; I also was honored with the position of captain for my high school swim team.
I am very excited to be back for my third year as an assistant coach.
Along with swimming, I also play for the Varsity Lacrosse Team at NWHS. I am very thrilled to work with both children experienced with swimming and with the ones new to the sport!
I look forward to working with the team this summer and am excited for a great season!
My name is Ayden Law. I am very excited for my first time as an assistant coach! I was a volunteer swim coach last summer, which was also my first year swimming for Oak Ridge.
I have been swimming for about nine years! I have swum on multiple teams. I did year-round swimming, high school swimming, and summer swim before I moved to North Carolina. Once I moved to North Carolina I jumped right in and swam for Northwest High School, and shortly after Oak Ridge in the summer.
I will be attending the NC State in the fall. I will be majoring in marketing, but more specifically some type of digital marketing.
Last swim season I was able to get to know all of the swimmers and their families and cannot wait for this season to start!
My name is Curtis Peaslee and I am a proud member of the Oak Ridge Swim Team. I have the privilege to say that this will be my fourth-year coaching for the team. I have been swimming all my life, so I know a thing or two that could help the swimmers on our team improve their skills. I started my swimming experience with the Greensboro ELKS and continued swimming with GCY. I swam for the Northwest High School Swim Team, and now I am a student at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. I am looking forward to a fun and productive swim season.
My name is Claire Jacoby. I’m very excited to be returning this year as an assistant coach!
I will be attending Meredith College in the fall, and studying Marketing and Interior Design.
This will be my third year as an assistant coach. I was previously a volunteer coach for three years and have been swimming at ORSC for thirteen years now!
In addition to swimming for Oak Ridge, I've swam at NWHS for four years and play lacrosse as well.
I love helping the swimmers improve and am excited to work with them again this summer!!
